On October 14, 2026, Xiamen Hatro Electronics Co., Ltd. completed a series of industry-university-research exchange activities that combine international vision and in-depth local scientific research: the company received Professor Moon Hwi-chang, President of Chung-Ang University of Foreign Studies (CUFS), and his entourage for enterprise inspection, and then went to Xiamen University to carry out cutting-edge technical discussions with the team of Academician Hong Minghui, Fellow of the Singapore Academy of Engineering and Tan Kah Kee Distinguished Professor at Xiamen University, injecting new momentum into the enterprise's innovative development.

This exchange activity is divided into three major sessions: on-site enterprise inspection, internal strategic forum, and joint seminar with the academician team at Xiamen University, covering multiple dimensions including industrial status, corporate strategy, production line processes and cutting-edge fundamental research. At Hatro’s factory area, visiting experts visited the product exhibition hall, R&D laboratory and pilot workshop, and gained an in-depth understanding of the company’s core products such as semiconductor carrier tapes, conductive particles and functional sheets. During the closed-door meeting, both sides discussed the market prospect and technical roadmap of global semiconductor packaging materials, and explored the long-term development strategy of the enterprise. At Xiamen University, the three parties carried out cross-disciplinary discussions on frontier topics such as micro-nano processing and polymer functional materials. Participants from industry, university and research institutes fully exchanged ideas and formed a number of valuable opinions.

This activity realized tripartite linkage among overseas universities, domestic academician research teams and semiconductor material manufacturers, and opened up the communication chain connecting fundamental scientific research, frontier academia and industrial application. On the one hand, Professor Moon Hwi-chang, an international strategic scholar, brought the latest international research trends and global industrial perspective. On the other hand, the cutting-edge scientific research achievements of Academician Hong Minghui’s team provide underlying technical support for the enterprise’s new product research and development. The multi-dimensional exchanges have broadened Hatro’s innovation vision, and further strengthened the enterprise’s confidence in tackling high-end semiconductor supporting materials and promoting domestic substitution.

In the future, Xiamen Hatro Electronics Co., Ltd. will continue to build a multi-level industry-university-research innovation cooperation network, adhere to independent technological innovation, continuously make breakthroughs in key technologies of semiconductor packaging materials, support the self-improvement of domestic semiconductor packaging industrial chain with high-quality domestic products, and steadily march into the international high-end semiconductor material market.
